How It Works

How Online Quran and Arabic Classes Actually Work

From booking a free trial to your first monthly progress report, here's exactly what to expect, with no surprises along the way.

A lot of parents hesitate to book a trial simply because they don't know what happens next, and worry it might turn into a pushy sales call or an awkward commitment they can't easily back out of. It isn't either of those things. The process below is the exact sequence every family goes through, with nothing left out or handled differently behind the scenes.

The Process

From free trial to your first full month

1

Book a Free Trial Lesson

Fill out a short form on our contact page with your child's age and rough starting level. No payment details are required at this stage.

2

Trial Lesson & Assessment

A teacher matched to your child's likely level runs a short assessment during the trial itself, confirming exactly where to start rather than guessing from your child's age alone.

3

Teacher Match Confirmed

Based on the trial, you'll either continue with the same teacher or be matched with one better suited to your child's specific program, whether that's Arabic, Quran reading, tajweed, or hifz.

4

Choose a Plan and Weekly Schedule

Pick a plan from our pricing page and a recurring weekly time slot in your own time zone. Most families settle into two or three sessions per week.

5

Regular Weekly Lessons

Lessons run one-on-one over video call, at a length matched to your child's age, typically 30 minutes for younger children and 45 to 60 minutes for older students working on tajweed or hifz. The recurring slot stays fixed week to week unless you request a change, so the routine becomes predictable for both child and parent.

6

Progress Reports

You'll receive a written progress update on a weekly or monthly basis depending on your plan, summarizing exactly what was covered and what's coming next. Full detail on what these reports track against is covered on our curriculum page.

Inside a Lesson

What a lesson actually looks like by age

Ages 4–7 (Arabic Foundations)

Short, high-energy 30-minute sessions built around games, songs, and flashcards, matched to a young child's realistic attention span.

Ages 6–12 (Quran Reading & Tajweed)

45-minute sessions combining guided reading, live pronunciation correction, and short recorded practice clips for parents to review.

Ages 8–15 (Hifz Track)

45 to 60-minute sessions split between new memorization and structured revision of previously memorized material.

Every Age Group

Parents are welcome to sit in on any lesson at any time, consistent with our child safety policy.

If It's Not a Fit

What actually happens if the trial doesn't go well

Not every first lesson is a perfect match, and that's a normal, expected outcome rather than a failure on anyone's part.

πŸ”„

Request a Different Teacher

If the teaching style, pacing, or personality just isn't the right fit, you can request a rematch at no cost and no awkward conversation required.

⏸️

Take Time to Decide

There's no pressure to enroll immediately after the trial. You can take a few days to discuss it as a family before committing to a plan.

πŸšͺ

Walk Away With No Obligation

Since no payment details are collected for the trial, deciding not to continue requires nothing from you beyond simply not booking further lessons.
